Treasury

The treasury module lets you know your current cash position, forecast future collections and payments, manage bank accounts and generate SEPA remittances for mass collections or payments.

  • Treasury dashboard (Treasury → Dashboard): overview of liquidity and due dates.
  • Bank accounts (Treasury → Bank accounts): register and track current accounts.
  • Collections (Treasury → Collections): pending customer receipts.
  • Payments (Treasury → Payments): pending supplier receipts.
  • SEPA remittances (Treasury → SEPA remittances): mass direct debits and transfers.
  • Bank reconciliation (Treasury → Reconciliation): match bank movements with entries.
  • Cashflow forecast (Treasury → Forecast): projected inflows and outflows.
  • At least one bank account must be configured.
  • Issued sales invoices (for collections) or issued purchase invoices (for payments).
  • (Optional) A signed SEPA mandate with customers/suppliers for direct debit remittances.

The main screen shows:

  • Cash today: consolidated balance of bank accounts.
  • Collections and payments in 30, 60 and 90 day ranges.
  • Top 5 pending collections and payments to prioritise follow-up.
  • Forecast chart: estimated evolution of cash flow.
  1. Go to Treasury → Bank accounts and click New account.
  2. Enter the code, description, IBAN, SWIFT/BIC and initial balance.
  3. Link the account to the corresponding accounting sub-account so that bank movements are reflected in the books.

Receipts are generated automatically when invoices are issued. From Treasury → Collections or Treasury → Payments you can:

  • See the pending amount, due date and linked document.
  • Register a partial collection or payment.
  • Mark the receipt as paid when it is fully settled.
  • Export the list to Excel.

To collect or pay multiple receipts in one go:

  1. Go to Treasury → SEPA remittances and click New remittance.
  2. Select the type: DIRECT DEBIT (collecting from customers) or TRANSFER (paying suppliers).
  3. Choose the bank account and the value date.
  4. Load pending receipts and select the ones to include.
  5. Save the remittance, generate the SEPA XML and, when the bank confirms dispatch, mark it as sent and later as processed.

Reconciliation compares real bank movements with ERP records:

  1. Import or enter the bank statement lines.
  2. Match each line with its corresponding invoice, receipt or journal entry.
  3. Mark the line as reconciled.

A full reconciliation ensures that the ERP cash position matches the bank statement.

The forecast projects future inflows and outflows. You can create manual items for collections or payments that do not yet have an associated invoice, such as taxes, payroll or planned investments.
