Accounting

The accounting module automatically captures movements generated by sales and purchases, and allows you to review, adjust and query the company’s accounting information.

  • Chart of accounts (Accounting → Chart of accounts): accounts and sub-accounts from the Spanish General Chart of Accounts.
  • Journal entries (Accounting → Journal entries): individual accounting movements.
  • Fiscal years (Accounting → Fiscal years): accounting years with start and end dates.
  • Tax models (Accounting → Tax models): calculation of models 303, 390, 190 and 130.
  • Financial reports (Accounting → Financial reports): balance sheet and profit and loss account.
  • Tax calendar (Accounting → Tax calendar): AEAT due dates.
  • An active fiscal year must be created.
  • The chart of accounts must be loaded with the necessary accounts.
  • (Optional) Issued sales and purchases so that entries are generated automatically.

ERP DLM creates entries automatically when you:

  • Issue a sales invoice.
  • Issue a purchase invoice.
  • Register a collection or payment.
  • Run a bank remittance.

Each entry has debit and credit lines that balance to zero, and is linked to the corresponding fiscal year.

  1. Go to Accounting → Journal entries.
  2. Search for the entry by date, account or source document.
  3. Open the entry to see its lines.
  4. If you detect an error, create a correcting entry or adjust the entry if it is not yet closed.

The fiscal year groups entries and determines the period to which reports belong. Before closing a fiscal year:

  1. Make sure all entries are balanced.
  2. Review any pending tax models.
  3. From Fiscal years, mark the year as closed to prevent new entries.

From Accounting → Tax models you can calculate the most common forms:

Model Period Description
303 Quarterly VAT accrued and deductible
390 Yearly Annual VAT summary
190 Yearly IRPF withholdings applied
130 Quarterly IRPF prepayment
  1. Select the model, the fiscal year and, if applicable, the period.
  2. Click Generate to see the breakdown.
  3. Click Export BOE to download the file formatted for submission to the tax authority.

Shows the company’s assets, equity and liabilities at the end of the selected fiscal year. The summary indicates whether the balance is balanced.

Breaks down income and expenses by nature and calculates the year’s result:

  • Operating result.
  • Financial result.
  • Taxes.
  • Net result for the year.

The calendar shows AEAT due dates. From this screen you can:

  • View pending and filed obligations.
  • Filter by model or status.
  • Mark an obligation as filed.
